Job Responsibilities:-

This position represents the journey level position within design engineering. The primary role of an Engineer is that of an individual contributor to the planning and delivery of a project.

Key areas of responsibility encountered in this role may include any or all the following:

Design and development of new components, subsystems or processes.
Support to validation & testing activities of mechanical components and subsystems;
Work on continuous cost reduction ideas;
Work closely with key suppliers on new product development;
Communicate technical information to customers, team members, suppliers and other units;
Support facilities, dealers or customers for product maintenance.

Requirements:-

Mechanical Engineering degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:-

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of Diesel & Gas Gensets including design requirements for Noise regulations and ambient capability.
Experience in using CFD Software
Understanding of International standards like ISO8528 and UL2200.
Knowledge of the NPI process.

Skills:-

Cooling System understanding and design experience, familiar with Cool-1 Software
Must have thorough design knowledge in one or more of the following- Structural components like Base-frame, Enclosure, Air & Exhaust systems.
Should have working knowledge of 3D/2D design & PLM software.
Application of GD&T and tolerance stack up.
Demonstrate strong analytical skills and technical leadership.
Must be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
